Reliable, affordable coverage

When my beloved joined a fire spinning troupe, Specialty Insurance was THE name everyone spoke when asked who they recommended for performer insurance. Thankfully, she never needed to call upon them but they were always very easy to work with and provided what was needed.

Fast forward, I signed up a policy for my professional Event Videography business and Specialty Insurance has been awesome. Quick to provide named certificates for venues, with an online interface that was easy and helpful to use.

I've lost count of how many years I have been with Specialty Insurance Agency. I've also lost count of how many fellow magicians and other entertainers I have recommended them to.
Today, it is a must for a professional entertainer (or even semi-pro, as I was when I started with them) to have liability insurance. You never know what could possibly happen. It is always good to have someone you can get ahold of with questions when you need to or someone who can email an additionally insured form out to a client in amazingly fast time! I need those pretty often and they are always right on top of it!

Many years ago, I was nervous because a DJ threatened to sue me because my dove pooped on/in his $4k mixer board, shorting it out. Yeah...
I was able to get all of my questions answered about it from a representative at Specialty Insurance right away, in case it happened. It was even talked about on the local radio station, as it happened at a large event in front of hundreds of people.
Fortunately, I he was able to fix it and I didn't get sued but I was happy to know that I had Specialty Insurance just a phone call or email away.

While I have no experience of filing claims, Specialty has always been very prompt with certificates and helpful with whatever else I might need. Their annual rates are very reasonable whether you're a professional or a hobbyist. I feel like they're always improving their website, too. And they make an effort to educate their client base with newsletters, safety tips, etc. I miss the paper mailing they used to send out with all the insurance claims for the year -- it always made me think about things I might not have considered otherwise. I have used Specialty Insurance Agency for my Vendor Insurance since 2014 and I can say that I am so grateful that I found them when I did. Before finding them, I tried out many other insurance providers while overpaying for less coverage.
Now that I'm with Vendors of the US, I am confident in knowing that I am well taken care of. Their rates are competitive, yet affordable. In my opinion, they can't be beat. Applying for new coverage or even just requesting a COI is simple and efficient. I appreciate their reliability and communication throughout changes that happen, whether it be within their website or changes that I request for a certificate.

I've been using Specialty for over a decade as a full-time circus artist. While I have no experience of filing claims, Specialty has always been very prompt with certificates and helpful with whatever else I might need. Their annual rates are very reasonable whether you're a professional or a hobbyist. I feel like they're always improving their website, too. And they make an effort to educate their client base with newsletters, safety tips, etc. I miss the paper mailing they used to send out with all the insurance claims for the year -- it always made me think about things I might not have considered otherwise. Great company that only gets better every year.
