Equipment Leased or Rented
Equipment Leased or Rented
Equipment Leased or Rented coverage insures mobile equipment you rent, borrow, or lease from others in case it’s vandalized, stolen, lost, or damaged. Equipment rental companies will want to see your certificate of insurance that lists them as a loss payee to ensure your lease from them is covered while their equipment is in your care, custody, and control. (This coverage does not insure your equipment that you rent to others; it only insures equipment that you rent from others.)
This coverage has a $500 deductible for a loss caused by fire; a $500 deductible for a loss caused by theft, malicious mischief, or vandalism; and a $500 deductible for any other loss.
A 100% Coinsurance clause applies to this coverage (in order for a loss to be fully paid, 100% of the value of the rented equipment must be insured).
